Friday Jazz at the High Museum of Art, July 20, is held in partnership the National Black Arts Festival. This special evening of music, mingling, and artistic expression will feature jazz-bassist Rodney Jordan and his quartet from 5 to 12 a.m. in the Robinson Atrium. At 10 p.m. the High will transform into a late-night artist’s lounge where visitors can stroll through the Annie Leibovitz exhibition, sip sweet cocktails, and enjoy the melodic of sounds of DJ Vando Davis until midnight. Held on the third Friday of every month, Friday Jazz includes live musical performances in the Robinson Atrium of the Stent Family Wing, art making activities in the Greene Family Education Center and gallery tours.
