The Shakespeare Crashers event is a special evening of socializing and theatre at Georgia Shakespeare. In addition to our exciting summer season (including Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream and Titus Andronicus, Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland), Georgia Shakespeare hosts a variety of social events before and after shows.
Shakespeare Crashers is a pre-show wine and beer happy hour held right outside of the theatre. This is an ideal atmosphere of social and business networking for young and young-at-heart professionals. Tickets are $25, and include the Atlanta Brewing Company's complementary wine and beer as well as admission to the performance.
This summer, Shakespeare Crashers will be held on the following dates:
Wednesday, July 1 (6:30 pm Reception, 8 pm Cat on a Hot Tin Roof)
Wednesday, July 29 (6:30 pm Reception, 8 pm Titus Andronicus)
Our theatre is located on Oglethorpe University's beautiful campus, and provides attendees with furnished picnic grounds to enjoy before our performances. We encourage patrons to bring their own food and drink, or to order from Georgia Shakespeare's official caterer, Terra Terrior, beforehand.
Shakespeare Crashers is a unique event for young professionals, but we encourage you to attend any of our other special events and performances throughout the summer!
