Hey Atlanta YAP Club,

I'm part of Dallas YAP and I wanted some advice. I have been thinking of relocating to Atlanta from the Big D for over a year now but will be doing so by myself w/o a company package or relocation deal. Does anyone know of any "look-see" tours in Atlanta that cater to individuals relocating out of state to a new one?

Also since I am not too familiar with the counties in Atlanta, I would like some info or general idea of any counties that have adequate public transportation (since I do not wish to be driving around all the time, I have done enough of this here in Dallas), near outdoor venues as parks, creeks, bike trails (I love nature and the tall trees in Atlanta) and is culturally diverse with a degree of different things to do. (which Atlanta is not short of)?

Thanks a bunch,

Joella

Gwinnett County is a good place to be. It has culture. From Asian, Spanish to Caribean, India, Gwinnett has it all. There's also the Gwinnett Transit. It doesn't go all over Gwinnett, majority in Norcross and Duluth area.
Chamblee has MARTA which can take you through Atlanta to Hartsfield Airport. Personally, I love downtown Atlanta. You can just walk or take a taxi. It's great. Hope I helped
