Party barge parties ARE AWESOME! They were definitely some of the most fun times I had last summer. I hosted 2 party barge parties in Austin last year and am personally throwing a 3rd party barge event in a week (and I would invite more people, but all 75 of my spots are RSVP'd and full!)
If you have any questions about hosting an event like this (like costs, how much planning is involved, recommendations on who to go with, etc) let me know!
