Martinak State Park Kayak Tour with Guided Instruction
Join Things To Do for an amazing kayaking tour on Watts Creek and the Choptank River on the beautiful Eastern Shore in Martinak State Park. Martinak State Park, surrounded by Hardwood and Pine forests, has over 100 acres of hiking, biking trails that provide a diverse habitat for an abundance of wildlife and migrating waterfowl. After putting in, we will be paddling upstream where we will explore quiet coves and view the bald eagles, ospreys, herons, geese, turtles, redtail hawks, deer and & many other species. Martinak State Park is full of pockets of secluded beauty, some only accessible by kayak. It is common for visitors to enjoy watching bald eagles, ospreys and great blue herons. Beavers have surprised visitors by swimming past their boats.
