WV Bridge Day - Whitewater Rafting

Just wanted to share with everyone that The Gorge in WV has an annual festival in mid October called Bridge Day. They shut off the bridge to vehicles so people can BASE and bungee jump off it.

Also, it is the last flow out of the dam and one of the best whitewater rafting weekends on the East Coast. You can raft the rapids while people are falling from the sky. It is going to be a blast.

If interested, you would need to reserve all your spots in advance. It is basically about $100 per activity per day. They also have zip lines, paintball, mountain biking, rock climbing, etc.

If you do sign up and want company, it may be nice to car pool or find camp sites near each other. I am going by myself so let me know if you are interested. It is a 5+ hour car ride. Beautiful country and great rapids.
