Andyman's Tree House Review by Christopher O

Andyman's Tree House is a Great Place to Discover New Bands
4/5 stars

As far as I'm concerned, Andyman's Treehouse is the premiere location at which to check out new indie bands playing live that you likely have not heard of. Similarly, if you are in a band and want to get a start, Andyman's will let you play.

The name comes from the giant oak tree that springs forth from the floor and occupies the middle of the live music room. The bar features dimmed, concert-esque lighting at all times, and the walls are peppered with posters for old zombie movies and concerts that I wish I had been to. They also have a pool table and couches for those who desire a more relaxed atmosphere.

It is never too crowded but rarely dead, even on a Sunday night one would expect to find at least a handfull of young hipsters and gutterpunks. But not the pretentious kind with the white belts and the sculpted hair, the bar is generally frequented by scruffy faced indie kids who have come to support their friends as they play live music for all to enjoy.

The service is friendly and the drinks are cheap, an all around good experience. But I would not reccommend it if you are not an underground music enthusiast, nor if you are hoping to hear something familiar, because the music at Andyman's is anything but.
