Event Postings\Hosting a YAP Event
We do not post events for you. Our website allows anyone to post an event. To post your event on our website, please create an account, login and go to the events page for the city you wish to post in and then click on the Add an Event link. We have two kinds of events: YAP Events and Local Events. YAP events must be hosted with a way for members to meet each other. Local Events are all other events that fit within our event guidelines.
Venues
If you have a venue you wish to promote, you may add the location to our website or post in our forums. If you wish to invite
YAP to host an event at your venue, create an account and send a message to the City Director for your specific city (there is a link to View City Directors in your "home" page when you login). Note some of our cities do not have a city director yet.

For journalists or reporters only wishing to contact us for a story or an article on YAP. If you are not a media person and you email this address promting something we will flag it as spam for not following instructions. ;)
Link Exchange
Please submit your link via our automated link exchange system. First goto the appropriate city your website is for. And then click on the 'links' link on the top right of our website for that city. Your website and link must have content specific to the city you are submitting to (so do not submit mymultiplecitywebsite.com to Chicago & Denver; instead you would submit mymultiplecitywebsite.com/chicago/ and mycitywebsite.com/denver/ pages).
Guidelines for Contacting Us
We conduct initial communications via email only. Please also be very specific and to the point when emailing us as we will not respond if you are vague. After the initial email exchange, if it makes sense to talk over the phone we can schedule a time to speak .
Our physical address is provided for legal reasons and for official business only. We do not read any physical mail that we receive on groups, events, products or services. As a matter of fact, we are less trusting of entities that will solicit us through physical mail instead of email. So please send us an email instead. We are an Internet company that likes trees.
