Spport a great cause and join your fellow colleagues, community partners, and friends for March Madness, Reduced Drink Prices, Free Pizza, and Raffles for Great Prizes at A Happy Hour Benefiting “Put Your Best Foot Forward.” Grant Thornton LLP and Friends Put Your Best Foot Forward Community Consortium will hold a workshop on April 7th to help disadvantaged Arlington-Alexandria residents acquire the vital skills to find employment. Proceeds from the happy hour defray from the costs to host the workshop (supplies, equipment, and facility rental) and any surplus will be shared equally among non-profit partners to specifically support their employment programs. When: Thursday, March 22, 2007 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm Where: The Big Hunt 1345 Connecticut Ave, NW Washington, DC 20036 Metro: DuPont Circle or Farragut West Cost: $10 which includes entry into a raffle for great prizes valued over $400 including Baltimore Orioles tickets, a Charlie Palmer Steak gift certificate and gift cards to local merchants. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 a piece Specials $1 off all drinks, $3 rail drinks, $2.50 Bud/ House Drafts All guests who RSVP for this event will be entered into a special raffle for two tickets to the DC Improv Comedy Club.
