Hey Guys,
It seems like our Washington, DC group has been pretty dead I use to be part of YAP Dallas where it all started and they had many events and participation. We should try to get a good turnout for this happy hour and get this group together. Its a great opportunity to network and meet other people with similar interests.

Hello Everyone!!
I just wanted to remind everyone of the YAP Spring Happy Hour event this Friday on April 25th from 6-9PM at:
McFadden’s Restaurant and Saloon
2401 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20037
*Foggy Bottom/GWU Metro Stop (Orange and Blue Lines)
Drink Specials: Guests should identify themselves as "DC Young Active Professionals" to receive a free wristband good for $1 Mixed Rail Drinks and $1 Light Draft Beers from 6pm-8pm. After 8pm, there will be Bud/Bud Light bottles on special for $2 each until 12am.

EVENT UPDATE:
Hello Everyone!
I wanted to thank all of you who attended the YAP Spring Happy Hour this past Saturday at McFaddens. We had over 35 people attend! I have posted a few pictures from the event.
Congratulations to Jim McBride for winning the free 2 hour open bar Happy Hour at McFaddens!
I think the event went great for our first event. I have learned a few lessons. I think our next Happy Hour should be at a quieter bar that will allow us to network more with each other and also give us an opportunity to participate in an Ice Breaker. I hope to see all of you at the next Happy Hour.
Our next Happy Hour will be on May 16th. The location details are still being figured out. More events are being added to YAP, so check back soon and sign up for the next Happy Hour on May 16th or the Sunday Brunch on May 25th!
Feel free to contact me if you would like to volunteer to host another YAP Event. I am looking at hosting a Summer Luau as well as a DC United Tail Gating event. If anyone would like to help plan these events, please contact me at punit.seth@gmail.com
