Well, just like everyone else who signed up for the site, I'm curious what this group will yield. So, as I'm not shy, I'll start.
I'm interested in this group to meet new people in the Denver area and expand my professional circle of friends. Personal friends and business relationships are always welcome. I think this is a good oppurtunity to do group activities and explore new interests.
What is everyone else hoping to accomplish from this group?

I can't believe that no one has responded! Have you gotten much out of this site yet? I teach at Creek and I signed on to meet new people. I moved here less than a year ago and the social scene with the math teachers in my dept. is a bit lacking....shocking! : ) So, I am dying to meet young people who want to hang out and have fun! I guess we'll see how that goes...

Like Chad, I am interested in meeting new people for both personal and professional reasons. If everyone participates, I think there is some serious potential for fun as well as great networking opportunities. I will certainly keep my eye on what is happening around here. Hi,
I'm just desperately seeking workout groups in the SE Denver area. I find I'm losing my motivation b/c I don't workout with people I know.
Anyway, if you live near Highlands Ranch and like to run, wouldn't mind teaching someone how to play tennis, like to box, belong to 24HourFitness . . . I don't know the list could go on and on . . .
And if you work a weird shift (like graveyards!) - or not, it doesn't matter,

Hi to everyone! I just joined this group via Craigslist and I'm excited about meeting people. It doesn't look like many people post much here, but maybe that will change soon. I'm hoping to meet new people that enjoy learning and exploring. I'd like to meet people that are past the "lets get a drink" stage. I want to go to the museum, the planitarium, IMAX, etc. I want to explore new hiking trails in the spring and maybe soak in the hot springs with a new group of friends. I hope some people here share my interests and take the steps to contact me. Talk to you all later :) |

Hi everyone, I'm new in this and just checking it out. I am actually not from the Denver area but hope to be soon, I'm from Miami. I just came back from vacationing in Denver less than 2 weeks ago and love it and plan to move as soon as the beginning of next year. I noticed everyone over there is very friendly, is it hard meeting new friends? Thanks! |
