July 4th Ultimate Lake Party 2008

DIRECTIONS AND MEETING US
1.) Please read how to find the group below to find us
2.) Please plan to arrive in time to meet us at 6pm. We are starting the party early at Charlie's and recommend everyone showing up then to mix and mingle and meet everyone before out boats leave at 7:29PM.
3.) We won't wait for you. Boats leave sharp. See #2 above. Plan to show up early in case you get lost or traffic is really bad. It is the Fourth of July and EVERYONE wants to go out on the lake.
4.) If you are going to arrive late, you can call my mobile. There is a chance we are also running late or we can sell your spot to someone else for you

I AM NOT TRACKING PAYMENTS FOR THE CATAMARAN ON YAP. THAT IS HANDLED BY BIGDCATS, THERE ARE STILL SPOTS OPEN FOR THE CATAMARAN. THE 50 PEOPLE LISTED AS PAID FOR THIS EVENT ARE FOR THE PARTY BARGE. WE HAVE ANOTHER 100PPL EXPECTED ON THE CATAMARAN.

We have a 50 person party barge and the 100 person catamaran for July 4th and are throwing the biggest and best July 4th lake party for 2008. At least I am pretty sure of that. lol. No lines. No crowds. No kids. No traffic. Super Party!!!

Please note in your RSVP which boat you plan on going on so everyone knows.

HOW TO PAY AND ATTEND THIS EVENT
1.) You are not confirmed until you pay.
You must pay in advance to attend. We have limited spots and they are first come first serve. Instructions for paying can be found below .

2.) Payment means you are confirmed.
Payments are handled by PayPal and directly on the BigDCats websites. IF you pay on one of these sites, then you are confirmed to go. The RSVP list is just a way for ppl to let everyone know they plan on going and see who else is going. I plan on updating the list of ppl paid for the party barges early next week.

3.) You have two boats to choose from which are listed below as First Boat and Second Boat.

Event Summary
We have Two different party boats on the lake to choose from: the party barge or the catamaran. The catamaran is a much nicer boat and it sails (quiet), has a bar, tables, places to sit like bean bags & nettings, water slide, 2 toilets & DJ. The party barge is simpler with chairs & water slide and single toilet per barge. You can see pictures of the two boats to see what they are like.

Both boats have restrooms and will be stopping for swimming at the cove where the fireworks launch (we plan on parking near each other). So be sure to bring your swimsuits!!

Great view of fireworks show for both boat choices. We will be approx 100yds or so from the beachhead where they are launched.

July 4th BBQ provided on both boats: Hamburgers and Hot Dogs (with fixings), Veggie Burgers, Potato Chips & Veggie Chips, Vegetable and Fruit Trays and Cookies. As well as ice, water and sodas.

Red, white and blue leis for first 120ppl

Both boats are BYOB. You can bring whatever alcohol you wish but try not to bring bottles (i will have cups).

Social ppl and hosts on both boats. We will have ppl helping introduce ppl and make introductions so if you are new and coming alone, it will be easy to meet people.

Pre Party Charlie's bar at the Pier. Get there early so you don't have to rush.

Optional Post Party afterwards for those wanting to hang out before heading home.

How to Find the Group

HOW TO FIND US AT MARINA & GENERAL INFO
We will meet at Charlie's Restaurant at Pier 121 Marina. Go to their website link or call 214-812-9299 for directions. If something goes wrong, call me. But be sure you PRINT OUT A DETAILED MAP, DIRECTIONS AND PHONE NUMBER OF MARINA so you do not have to call me. As my phone will be ringing off the hook that day and it will take me awhile to get back to you. Please call if you have a problem or are running late.

1.) Read the directions to figure out how to get to Standridge Dr on Hwy 121 by Centennial Liquor Store. Do not leave your house unless you know exactly 100% how to get to Standridge Dr. It is next to the Centennial Liquor Store and is at a stop light.
2.) Go North on Standridge Dr from 121
3.) Take a left on Lake Ridge Dr (stop sign)
4.) Take a right on E Hill Park Rd (there is sign for pier 121)
5.) At the intersection with big glass building with boats, veer right towards the marina. Do not go straight into the park where u have to pay to enter
6.) Follow the road, cars and crowd. You might have to park very far away and have a 5 min or so walk to marina.

We are having the Club Fred Party Barge pick us up next to Charlie's Restaurant and the catamaran. Take a look at what the boats looks like as that will be the easiest way to find us.

6:00PM to 7:00PM
We will meet for preparty somewhere in Charlie's Restaurant. The place will be packed. There are going to be 100s of people everywhere. I will find some place and put some signs which say JULY 4th BOAT PARTY, MEETUP & YAP. Preferably, I am going to try to find a table as close to the catamaran as possible. I am going to be all over the place. It will be up to you to approach the table or area where the signs are and ask the ppl about the party and mingle with us. With so many people around and as crazy as it is, it won't be as easy as always to find us.

7:00PM - 7:29PM
You will meet by your boats. The Catamaran should be there by 7:00 or so and you can start boarding then. There will be waivers to fill out on board.

The party barge will arrive by 7:20. When it does arrive, be ready to get on so we can fill out waivers and be ready to go asap. It most likely will dock by the gas station. But you will have to keep your eyes open for where it is.

DON'T BE LATE!!!
We plan on leaving right at 7:30 for both boats so call if you are running late (972-679-9818). But, best bet is to get there extra early for our preparty at 6pm so you are not late. If you aim to get there just in time I guarantee you will not make it on. July 4th is very crowded. There will be traffic on 121. There will be lines to park. Arrive at the Pier at least 45mins early. At least 60mins if you have never been to the marina before. When we are ready to go we are leaving and we won't wait. No refunds for missing the boats.

Every year someone gets lost. It is not easy to find as there is construction. You need to bring and print a map with you. I will send out and email of directions and phone numbers to print and bring.
