Come join us at the Sons of Hermann Hall for East Coast Swing dance lessons. This is a great venue to learn a fun and athletic dance style as well as meeting some great people. Beginner lessons from 8-9, and open floor until midnight. I will meet newbies at the bar downstairs at 7:45. Try to be there before 8:00 as you may miss some important material if you are late. The hour lesson is simple enough for anyone to pick up and have fun dancing after the lesson on the open floor. There is no need to bring a partner but you can bring as many people as you wish.
Attire is very relaxed. Jeans and t-shirts are the norm. Shoes are important. Stay away from flip flops, high heels and shoes that leave marks on the floor. Also, if you have shoes that slide well on wood floors you will be much better off. Otherwise wear something comfortable.
