Sterling Society Mardi Gras Ball

Annual formal event held by the Sterling Society during Mardi Gras benefiting local children's charities. It is always held on a Saturday at a nice hotel and as of 2007 gets about 2200+ attendees a year. They also have a formal gourmet dinner before the ball.

This is a great formal ball at a great price. Over 2000 people attend and there are a couple different bands, a for fun casino and a silent auction. There are also some great after parties afterwards. I recommend getting a room and making a night of it. It's a good event to bring a date or come single.
