to Host 2ND Annual New Year’s Eve Spectacular
Proceeds to Benefit Dropout Prevention in Dallas, Collin and Ellis County Public Schools

WHAT: The champagne is chilling and the clock is ticking as the Communities In Schools Dallas Region (CISDR) Endowment and ALON USA countdown to the biggest night of the year. On Dec. 31, 2007, the two will co-host the 2nd Annual New Year’s Eve Spectacular at the Hilton Anatole Dallas. Guests will be treated to live performances from three show-stopping bands, a casino, grand balloon drop, midnight champagne toast, late-night buffet and more. Headlining the show are the swinging sounds of Hunter Sullivan, Fort Worth’s legendary Johnny Reno & The Lounge Kings and the Cary Richards Orchestra.

WHY: The Communities In Schools Dallas Region Endowment was established in 2003 with an initial gift of $1 million by ALON USA to provide long-term financial support for Communities In Schools Dallas Region, Inc. (CISDR), a part of the nation’s leading dropout prevention network. The Endowment helps sustain CISDR efforts to provide one-on-one, on-campus academic support and social services to more than 7,800 at-risk students annually across the greater Dallas region.
