Fort Worth, TX, April 28, 2008: The “Daddy, I Need You” Male Leadership Conference is a one-day educational, empowering and entertaining event that will focus on dynamic fathers and men strengthening their roles in the lives of their children and as leaders. The conference will include workshops discussing topics relevant to fathers, men taking the roles as fathers, and young men who will one day enter fatherhood. The conference will also have an Informational Expo that will be open all day for conference attendees and the general public. The Expo will consist of various types of vendors who can provide services, resources and possible job placement to the community as a whole.
Success Movement and Banks Entertainment have collaborated to produce the 1st Annual “Daddy I Need You” Male Leadership Conference, an event that will bring fathers and all men together for mutual support, education, inspiration and entertainment. Over 300 men in attendance will enjoy poet, author and speaker Mike Guinn of Fort Worth Slam Team, as well as speakers Junichi Lockett, Jr. and Andre L. Johnson. Topics such as “Fatherhood and Leadership”, “Importance of Healthy Relationships”, and “Leading Before the Seed” will be addressed. Attendees will also have the benefit of catered breakfast and lunch served to the tune of live music, comedy and poetry.
