2008 Dallas Margarita Ball

UPDATE - 3:01PM 11-15-08:
1.) Do not call me asking for an invitation. I do not have any more invitations to give out. You may of course call if I have already talked to you about getting you an invite or meeting up with us.

2.) Do not call me asking for generic info about the ball. We are not affiliated with the DMS. We're just a fun group who is going. If you plan on joining us beforehand, you can call my mobile between 5pm and 8pm to get our room number. Or you can call if you are running late or are having some problems.

Note: YAP happens to be one of the top google results for the ball and I am getting swamped with phone calls and texts. So only call\text me if you plan on meeting up with us or already are getting an invite from me.

This is one of the best parties and biggest formal events in Dallas. This is the event for ppl who are going to the ball to signup for or ppl wanting invitations to signup for. Each invitation is good for two people.

YAP does not have invites this year (last year we had a lot of extras) but I will be posting happy hours or events I know where you can meet ppl to get an invite. Or goto the Margarita Society homepage to find our when their next hh is. I can help make introductions to get ppl invites at a margarita happy hour I attend and will have some way for you to recognize and find me at that happy hour.

How to Find the Group

Finding my Room Number: Please only call my mobile phone (972-679-9818) (after 5pm once I've checked in) to find my room number for meeting us or if you want to meetup and are running late. I will leave my room number and places\times to meet in my voicemail greeting. Once the ball starts, I won't be answering my phone (I won't be able to hear anyways) but u can text me.

I don't want to wait for anyone this year so at 7:45 or 8:00 when we are ready, we plan to leave. If you miss me in our room then you can meet us at the next meeting times below.

ARRIVE EARLY!!
Note there will be LONG LINES and LOTS OF TRAFFIC to get to the ball. I recommend arriving early as if you come late you could be stuck in line waiting to park for awhile (even an hour or more).

5:00PM to 6:30PM - Unofficial Preparty at Jason's Room. I will be hanging out, getting ready watching football or whatever but if you arrive early or got a room and what to stop by you're welcome.

6:30PM to 7:45PM - Preparty and meet at Jason's Room. For those wanting to meetup with us before the ball and enter with us meet at my room by 7:45PM. We will start getting ready to leave around then to make it down to the ball by 8:15PM. But we may be running late.

9:30PM - First Meeting at the Ball. I will be directly in the middle of the main stage facing the main band & dancefloor. I will be wearing a standard tux and you will have to recognize me.

10:30PM - Second Meeting at the Ball. I will be directly in the middle of the main stage facing the main band & dancefloor. I will be wearing a standard tux and you will have to recognize me.
