Turn back time to an evening of good old-fashioned fun this 4th of July. Live music, water shows, trolley rides, games & activities will casually sprawl along the Trinity River on the levy behind LaGrave Field. The evening will end with what promises to be the best fireworks display in Fort Worth.
Fort Worth’s Fourth is a free event open to the entire community. It is a gift given to recognize this important holiday, and to offer a unique venue for its celebration.
Live music will be provided the Rock the Fourth Battle of the Bands, sponsored by 95.9 The Ranch. Stage performances will feature the three bands selected as finalists by radio listeners throughout the month of June.
Games and activities will include water wars, splash pads, pony rides, bounce houses, treasure dig, and levy slides. Jet ski shows, a longhorn cattle herd, and trail tours will add to the entertainment.
The Fort Worth Cats will play ball at 6:05 p.m. All Fort Worth’s Fourth guests are invited to watch the game from reserved levy lawn seats for just $1 per person.
Picnic baskets are welcome, but carefully selected vendors will be available to sell food, drinks, and ice cream.
Plenty of shade, water, and cold watermelon will be provided. Lawn chairs and blankets are recommended to add comfort to the day.
The event will open at 5:30 p.m. Fireworks will begin after The Cats game, estimated to be between 9 – 9:30 p.m. Fort Worth’s Fourth will close for the evening when the fireworks end.
