Beyond Apartheid: An Evening at Modern
You are invited to attend a reception and private showing of the exhibit, Five Themes, by South African artist William Kentridge at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. This event will include a docent-guided tour of the exhibit, a reception with complimentary cocktails and appetizers and a presentation about modern issues in post-colonial Africa.
Internationally renowned for his multidisciplinary techniques, William Kentridge displays more than a decade of his drawings, animations and installation art. Five Themes bears witness to the turmoil surrounding apartheid and touches on broader themes of colonialism, social conflict and cultural memory.
