Screams Theme Park

This is an open area in a field with four haunted houses and some pavilions setup were you can get food and drinks (including alcohol). They also have other attractions such as a maze and a graveyard.

This haunted house has one major advantage over many. You can drink at it! So it is a perfect place to go on a weekend.

You also have choices. I dislike places where there is only one big haunted house. Here there are 4 to choose from. Four 15 minute haunted houses is much better than one hour long one.

And you can hang out at some of their pavilion areas they have setup and have a beer or glass of wine in between. So no standing around and waiting in lines. You can leisurely hang out at tables and enjoy a drink in between haunted houses.

The one drawback is the distance as it is a 45 minute drive from Dallas. This, however, made it perfect for when we went for our 2005 Halloween Pub Crawl.
