Balcony club is one of those places your hip friend might take you to. The experienced bartenders can make you almost anything. They once made me a hot toddy when I was sick. The live jazz music is always good. The whole place lacks pretension unlike other jazz clubs. There is a full bar, a small balcony, and booths. The laid back atmosphere, cool people, and melodic jazz will keep you coming back time and time again. It does get a little smokey in there. It either adds to the ambiance, or will drive you nuts depending on how it effects you. I like to go hear the group "Swing Therapy" on Sunday nights, but every group I have heard there has been quite good! There's no cover, so don't forget to tip the musicians!
