Anyone interested in getting together to cheer on the Mavs in game 1 of the NBA championship? I'm thinking of going to the Fox & Hound in Richardson. It's on Campbell Road just a couple of blocks west of Central Expressway. It's a very large sports-bar/restaurant with a pretty good food menu, pool tables & darts, and it can accommodate very large crowds. It's divided into three areas -- each with tons of televisions. I'm open to other suggestions as well, but this place is very large and is a great place to watch sporting events (it's where the Florida alumni association gathers to watch all the Gator football games, so I can personally vouch for it). Plus parking is easy -- they have a very large parking lot -- even bigger as they are located at the end of a strip mall.
Game time is 8:00pm, but I'm thinking its a safe bet they will fill to capacity so I'm thinking we should plan to get there by 6:30pm in order to grab some tables. We can have dinner and hang out until the game begins.
