EVENT UPDATE:
Is everyone ready for our biggest party of the summer next week?
Next Saturday June 17th from 8:00pm to 2:00am we're having our 3rd annual Hawaiian Party at Yucatan! You can get more details on the website but here is a short summary of items below:
Things you get for $5 cover
-over 200+ people expected to attend (240+ RSVPs currently)
-first 200ppl get a nice silk Hawaiian flower lei at the door
-Free food buffet from 8:30 to around 10:00pm exclusive for us
-DJ playing beach and party music all night
-Swimming pool by the bar
-Billiards, darts and sand volleyball available
Things to know:
-Hawaiian festive attire is the theme; this is a laid back event. anything goes such as hula skirts, swimsuits, hawaiian shirts, shorts, sandals, funny hats, etc...
-themed attired is not required -- if you don't have anything or prefer not to, wearing something "beachy" is not required (we'll give you a lei at the door)
-There is a swimming pool so wear swimsuit and bring towel if you like
-Someone will collect $5 cash and handout wristbands at the door
-Don't forget your drivers license
-We have an outdoor and indoor area available (depending on weather)
-greater than 90% of the people at the bar will be with YAP but there will be some not with our group. YAP members will have wristbands and leis.

Every season we have one really big party which everyone comes out to and is a blast. This one should be great like the rest. So come out and bring some friends! We're a fun and friendly group and there will be a lot of people to meet and a lot of fun things to do.

Volleyball people! Any of you want to meet at Yucatan around 6:30 pm on Saturday night and get in some good pick-up games before the party begins?? Let me know! Reply to this post so everyone else can see who can meet earlier!

Just a reminder of our big Hawaiian Party this Saturday at 8pm at Yucatan:

We have 320 RSVPs so far so looks to be a great time (and our largest event to date)!!!!
Yucatan has great facilities both indoors and outdoors so in case it rains we will still have plenty of room to party inside. And we always get a great turnout for our big parties regardless of the weather (case in point last Mardi Gras party in February during a very bad storm we still had close to 200ppl).
Remember to bring your swimsuit and a towel if you want to hang out in the pool.
This will be a great time. Everyone feel free to bring as many friends as you like! And remember we're a fun and friendly group and it's very easy to meet people if you come alone.
