Chris Bell to speak at Young Democrats Meeting this Tuesday, Oct. 10

October 10 Meeting: Future Governor Chris Bell, Cell Phone Drive, Dallas Bond Proposals

Democratic gubernatorial nominee Chris Bell will be joining the Dallas County Young Democrats for our October 10 meeting at 7:00pm at Metro Grill (4425 North Central Expressway in Dallas). In May 2005, Congressman Bell spoke to the DCYDs during his statewide tour to investigate the possibility of running for governor. Now, with the election looming, he'll join us again to fire up our membership for our last big push to victory!

Prior to the meeting, join us at 6:30pm for a meet and greet with Congressman Bell -- a chance to meet the next Governor of Texas one-on-one. Join the YDs and Chris Bell next Tuesday, October 10 at Metro Grill: 6:30pm for the Meet and Greet, 7:00pm for the Meeting.

Also at this meeting, we will be holding a Cell Phone Drive. All collected phones will be donated to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

And finally, representatives from the 2006 Dallas Bond Campaign will be on hand to discuss the Bond Package being presented to City of Dallas voters. To learn more about the Bond proposals that will be on your ballot, click here.
