This place is awesome. its on the 33rd floor of the W hotel. their patio looks over downtown Dallas. it's a great place to hang out. a little expensive though.
last time we tried to go there on a Saturday, we couldn't get in because it was full and the waiting line was full.
But yesterday we managed to get in. it was a week night and we went early (9:00pm)
It was as good as it was hyped up to be.

I thought it was overated. Cover, valet, and drinks are expensive, service is not good, and the people were cheesy. That's just one thought though.

A few of us went on Halloween night - no cover. It was fun! Definitely expensive / upscale - not a neighborhood hangout! But the hotel and the bar are worth experiencing and the view is really great. While we didn't make it, the lounge downstairs is supposed to be very nice as well.

I actually went in the summer, right after it opened...Had a great time, but agree with what everyone is saying...Some of the people are cheesy, drinks are expensive and if don't get there early enough, even if you are on the guest list, you are out of luck...Not worth the hype...

Hmm, I've never heard anything but bad thoughts on that place. It seems a place where normal people are shunned in favor of the rich. But, like I said, that's all just hearsay. Plus, I'm probably just bitter because I'm poor (haha).

Not a fan of the W hotel or the ghost bar, the first and last time I went to the Ghost bar the whole bar smelled like poop, the building has sewage problems and with methane gas. The hotelia a joke, I had to change rooms 3 times because things didn't work, a/c, phones, frig. I send all my friends to hotel ZaZa

I had a lot of fun at the Ghost Bar. Ladies this is a great place to get free drinks! You have to have between 4 and 8 people to sit at a table. Each table has a minimum of about $300. Because a lot of alcohol is purchased by the bottle, there is usually more than enough to go around. You shouldn't have to buy more than 2 drinks yourself. If you are a good looking lady, they usually won't charge you the cover. Its a good time, but I wouldn't go very often.

We've been to the ghost bar once. That's all it take is once. Hated it. The other posters are right, this place is expensive. Why paid an entry fee, the high drink prices and the worst service I have ever had. If you have never been to the ghost bar, don't. Better off going somewhere else.
