EVENT UPDATE:
I know that we are still over a month away from the big party, but I want to get people to start thinking about making hotel reservations. Rooms can be held with a credit card, with no charge or penalty until the day of the party. The hotel isn't that big and it will sell out. I'd also like for us to be able to take over the first 2 floors, so we can be noisy and play in the pool as late as we would like.

EVENT UPDATE:
Ok all you Hogs and Hogettes!!!!!!
The BIG party is a week and a half away.......is everyone ready for this winter weather to be over????? Will Phil see his shadow or not????
I stopped by the hotel this weekend and they are set and ready for our party. Rooms are $69 and can sleep 4 people and it is well worth spending the night. They can be reserved on a credit card. The card will not be charged until check out and you can release your reservation up to 6pm on the day of the event without incurring a penalty.
The pool and hot tub are in good shape and the meeting room is ready to go. If you plan on playing some water volleyball or doing any pool/hot tub activities, I suggest you get to the hotel early. The pool area is scheduled to be closed off to us at 10pm. At that point, it will have to be meeting/dance room or private room things going on.
This year we'll have a few kegs of BEvERages, some stuff in the frozen drink machine and ritas on the rocks. We'll also be ordering pizza for our food.
I just got the order for the t-shirts and cups in today. We should have plenty of cups for up to about 150, but I only ordered 100 t-shirts, so the first 100 paid participants get a t-shirt. I've also set the admission price at $20 until Fri...starting Saturday, admission will go up to $25. Get your payments in now and make sure you get a t-shirt.

EVENT UPDATE:
Just a reminder that you don't want to miss the party celebrating Phil's big day. This is an all inclusive hotel party with food, drink and dancing (also an indoor swimming pool, if you care to take a dip).
If you have RSVP'd for this event and will not be attending, please update your RSVP. I need to order food and buy alcohol this week.

Groundhog Day eve and it's not looking like Phil will be seeing his shadow....so what does that mean??? An early spring....yippee!!!!
Remember to make your room reservations for the big party. You cancel a reservation up until 6pm that day without penalty. If any of you need help finding someone to share a room with, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Looks like the turnout will be a little less than last year, so more room to dance and more to drink for those of us attending.
See you all tomorrow night and remember that this is the Comfort Suites on Belt Line across the street from BlackFinn.
