This is from the owner of Cerulean Art Gallery. I remember seeing someone who could have been this same guy on Dyer Street a few weeks back. Lance I was almost mugged last Saturday night around 10:15 pm on Yale Blvd. by the Barley House. I was about to get out of my car when a saw a man approach me. He looked like a bum, Caucasian, in his 60's, orange ball cap with a tan jacket. I immediately locked my car door and told him that I couldn't help him. He tried to open my car door. He told me he had a gun and that he was going to shoot me if I didn't give him everything I had or if I tried to drive away. I scrambled for my car keys as I was begging him not to shoot me. When I turned on my car, he tried to break open my window with the butt of his gun. I ducked as far down as I could in case he fired shots through my window while I reversed the car and drove away. I thank the Lord that I got away with my life! The police have not found him, so, he's still out there probably looking for his next victim. I am sending out this e-mail to remind everyone to be very careful and aware at all times. Instances like this are going to occur more often with the holiday season approaching!
