Qualification requirements:

 

·         Formal experience as a classroom trainer. Demonstrable ability to teach adults complex subjects in a classroom environment. 

·         Formal experience in course development for software or healthcare applications.  Demonstrable ability to write course materials and technical documents.

·         University degree

·         Strong general computer skills

·         At least 5 years of clinical orthodontic experience, e.g., as a chair side orthodontic assistant

·         Experience training others in clinical skills

·         Formal experience training assistants, e.g., in an accredited orthodontic training program

·         At least 2 years experience using Practice Management software such as Dolphin, TOPS, etc.

·         Strong understanding of day-to-day operations in a large orthodontic practice, e.g., scheduling

·         Dynamic personality; high “EQ” emotional intelligence, high energy

·         Creative problem solver

·         Team Player

·         Ability to deal with ambiguity and rapid change

 

Key responsibilities:

·         Teaches classes and develops course materials on SureSmile software functionality and its application, imaging and other topics to orthodontists and their staff.

·         Builds subject matter expertise that feeds learning solutions via data collection and analysis.

·         Participates in organizing and operating certification programs, continuing education, and related activities.

·         Extended hours may be required at times

·         Some travel (up to 25%) and can train on Saturdays.

This position will report to the Manager, Clinical Training and Support.
