OK. Everyone start spreading the word on our big fun party to start the summer! We are putting an ad out to promote the event too this year so everyone signup early so ppl will know how much fun this will be!

EVENT UPDATE:
Hey,
Just giving everyone an update on our Hawaiian Party this year. We are expecting an even better party than last year! It will be at Yucatan again.

We'll have a DJ, free leis for everyone who attends, pool side fun and the usual great crowd coming out. For this event we are also putting out some additional advertising to get more exposure for YAP. So get all your friends to signup for the party early on so when ppl check out the RSVPs from our ads they will know it will be a party not to be missed!!!
Last year we had 200+ people and are expecting the same turnout again this year. And we have a new DJ too this year taking requests for the evening that Cindy and others highly recommend!

Anyone know where to get a grass skirt in a 36 extra long?! Or should I take votes for a shorter skirt?! Hey Jason, can we start a poll? 
Really looking forward to this party to finally celebrate the arrival of summer!!!
Also, I may be recruiting at this event for a small private event on Lake Texoma. I have access to a large sailboat that we can party on...up to 13 people. Details and invitations to follow...stay tuned!....and yes, there MUST be more girls than guys....nothing else is acceptable!

As it's a Hawaiian Party casual attire is appropriate. Swimsuits, shorts, sandals, Hawaiian Shirts and more. I will send out another update later.

Note our party is from 8pm to 2am. Sorry for the confusion on earlier times. So we are going to be hanging out all night! :)
We'll be having fun early in the evening and late through the night depending on when you want to come out. Things will starting winding down around 12:00am or 1:00am.

EVENT UPDATE:

I originally had our party earlier and ending at 9pm by mistake. But it is from 8pm to 2am. This is one of our big parties and so ppl usually come out and stay late for most of the evening.

I think most ppl assumed we were partying late even though I had the time set for early. But for the others new to YAP, sorry for the mixup. So our DJ and party will be going all evening! I will be there early around 7pm even though the party won't officially start until 8pm. Most ppl will probably be there between 9pm and 12am.
Please pass the word on. And invite some friends to come out too! This is going to be a great time! It's fun to party with a theme.
Other Notes:
-There is a pool so you can bring a swimsuit\towel if you like
-They also have darts, billiards and volleyball
-The party is indoors and outdoors. So if it rains we'll just hang inside. And that shouldn't scare anyone as it has been raining all year anyways. ;)
-Everyone gets a Hawaiian flower lei so when you arrive you will know all the ppl who are in our group by the flower. I will have some tables reserved with YAP signs too.
-You do not need to dress up to come out. Most ppl will be casual and in Hawaiian but we know others are coming from other events. So wear whatever you like. You'll get a lei when you arrive so you'll fit in!
-The DJ takes requests if you have a song you like. It's our DJ for the evening and the focus will be on beach music.
-It's $5 cover at the door. Be sure to bring your ID.
-Yucatan has food if you are hungry
-Saturdays Yucatan has $2 drafts all night
