Hey everyone,
We're accepting payments for our party barge event this Saturday now. We're just going to do the one boat again (which everyone enjoyed last time) and last time the weather was great and it was a terrific evening!

EVENT UPDATE:
Hey everyone,
Sending out another reminder. If you are planning on going, please try to pay tonight or by 5pm tomorrow (Wednesday) which is our cancellation deadline for the boat.
We have a few signups already and most ppl do all pay right before. But if I don't get enough I may consider postponing this to later. If I get a few more signups I will feel better about keeping the boat. We had a lot of ppl last time despite all the rain worries so I am expecting a good turnout again for this one.

EVENT UPDATE:
I decided to postpone this Saturday's Party Barge and will refund everyone's paypal as we did not get enough ppl to pay. Sorry for cancelling. For some reason, the boats aren't as popular this year and they are a difficult event to host.
It is now moved to August of 2008 so you can keep your rsvp if you like or remove it and resignup then.
The good news though is that I have both boats reserved for Friday July 4th 2008 for the Colony's annual Fireworks show. A fantastic event!
Once again, sorry everyone for cancelling.

EVENT UPDATE:
Hey everyone,
I have the boats reserved for Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 4pm to 8pm. But I wanted to see everyone's opinion on whether they would prefer an afternoon\evening event (4pm to 8pm) or a night time event (7:30pm to 11:30pm). Let me know your choice via msg and we may change according to what ppl prefer.
The water is very warm so ppl will swim during the day or night.

EVENT UPDATE:
Hey everyone,
I have enabled the payment for the event. We are going to keep the time we have at 4pm to 8pm. We'll have a pre party with carpool and a post party at my house in Carrollton; and a group of us may go out somewhere that night too.
The first 20ppl or so will get the $20 rate. After that it goes to $25. We'll just be providing hot dogs, veggie tray and fruit tray this time. No hamburgers.
If I get enough ppl to pay by next week we will keep the second boat. So pay soon if you plan on going!!! And pay now to ensure you get the discounted $20 rate.

I know I talked to quite a lot of ppl planning on going and I will be sending a big email out to a lot of ppl on the event here shortly.
