Is anyone interested in playing coed softball this summer?  It would either be one of the City of Dallas or YMCA leagues.

I'm starting a Monday night league and possibly a Thursday night league in Dallas. Field has not been determined yet, but it will involve being able to drink beer. More details to follow.

DangerRuss...

Doesn't look like there's going to be much response to this particular string, so please keep me in the loop if you need an extra player.  I can play pretty much anywhere, but strongly prefer 1st base (or the outfield) since I have bursitis in my right arm that tends to flare up when I make a lot of hard throws.  I'm a solid, above average 1st baseman, but have a fairly weak bat.

Thanx...

I'm ready to play. I've been looking forward for someone to post something up about this. I played last year in Richarson with YAP!

I'm interested...I haven't swung a bat in a while, but I played baseball 9 years in a row growing up.  I played catcher, but am pretty damn versatile.

Would this be hard-core competetive or more of a drinker-friendly fun thing? If it's a "fun" time I'm good, if it's a "competetive" thing I'm average.

Russ...

Are you looking to put together a coed team, or all men?  Also, what level (i.e. D, C/D, etc) are you planning to play?  I'd prefer a coed team.

Please include me on any further notes on Summer Softball. I have at least one other guy that would play if it's a social league.

Hey Guys, I am not trying to put together a team, I am going to be running a league for BigDFun.com. It will be a coed rec league. I'm working with the city to try and get Griggs Park (Mockingbird/Central) but may end up with Cotillion Park (Ferguson/Shiloh). I'll have information posted later this week on the website, but I'll also post in here.

Hi All...

As mentioned earlier, this would be a coed team in one of the Dallas city or YMCA leagues.  I'm thinking that we'd play in North Dallas; probably Churchill Park or Fair Oaks, which is a *very* nice complex now that it's been completely renovated.

I would like the team to be "competitive" in that we win as many games as possible.  But with that said, but the only 3 "rules" on any team that I coach are 1) everybody plays 2) everybody bats 3) everybody has fun.  No exceptions!  Just show up and give it your best shot:)

I think we've got enough guys if everyone on this board comes through.  Please let me know ASAP if you know any girls who would like to play as well.  Feel free to email me directly with any questions or thoughts.

Thanx!
