DA Craig Watkins Speaks to DCYD on May 8th. District Attorney Craig Watkins will address DCYD members at our monthly meeting on May 8th at 7:00 PM at Zubar (2012 Greenville Ave). He will speak on his impressions on his first few months in office as well as his work with The Innocence Project in Dallas County. The Innocence Project is a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people through the use of DNA testing and reforming the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice. Currently, The Innocence Project has exonerated 13 individuals in Dallas County. We hope to see you May 8th at our new meeting location at Zubar. Don't worry about parking - complimentary valet and access to the large parking lot behind Zubar will be available. |
