Join a Bowling League

Sorry if i posted this in the wrong place earlier (see general discussion).

Ok I know that many of you guys and gals have expressed some interest in joining a bowling league. Now is the time to gather the interested players for the upcoming fall season.

The one league I was thinking about meets at the Richardson AMF Lanes (2102 N. Central Expwy; 75080). The name of the league is 12 Spot and they meet at 6:30 PM Wednesdays starting August 31.

I was told that this was a fun, social league for all skill levels. The cost is around $14 per night. This price will get you a bowler reward membership card good for discounts on bowling, major retailers and more! Also, at the end of the season there are cash rewards given out!

We need 4 players per team and at least one needs to be a girl. I think that we could get a couple teams together from YAP and friends.

Some of you were concerned about committing to the league for too long. Here are a couple of choices we have in regards to which league we join:

“Wednesday fun” Mondays @ 8:45 pm – 10:15ish starting Sept. 7 – December 20; Cash prizes

“W.S.O.P” Monday or Tuesday ~ 6:30pm – 8:30pm, Starting in September, 12 – 16 Weeks long. All players receive a 300 Piece poker chip set and a vintage bowler shirt.

“Super Sports” Wednesdays @ 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Starting September 7; 36 Weeks long; Cash Prizes.

“12 Spot” Wednesdays @ 6:30pm – 8:30pm, Starting August 31; 72 weeks – cash prizes; 4 weeks off; 72 more weeks – cash prizes.
