Job Responsibilities:

Candidate will be responsible for inbound technical support calls, accurately logging, ticketing, and tracking of all calls, providing accurate and professional resolution on all supported issues, timely follow up calls, and accurately resolving all assigned 'trouble' tickets.

Candidate will also have to travel locally for install and problem resolution. Excellent communication, customer service, time management, conflict resolution, and problem determination/resolution skills are a must.

Requirements:

  • Excellent phone skills
  • Ability to convey courtesy, professionalism and confidence. - Place HIGH level of importance on customer service.
  • Support local and remote clients.
  • Perform installation, upgrades and problem resolution to facilitate productivity.
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows 95/98/2K/XP, Internet connectivity, and a demonstrated knowledge of networking
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • PC Hardware configuration.
  • Able to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, customer oriented technical environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills for composing internal and external emails as well as updating ticket logs. - Ability to work in a team environment.
Qualifications:
  • Computer-related course work or equivalent experience required.
  • Local travel involved. Must have reliable transportation.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a PC desktop/laptop support environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written required.
