Hello!!! I'm a new YAP member, and found this site while looking for some fun stuff to do over the weekend... When I found it, it looked like it is such a great group, I could not resist to join it.
I have lived in Dallas for almost 9 years now, but I'm originally from El Salvador. I finished grad school last year and then got really busy at work, but now I'm trying to make some time for me and meet some new people... hopefully can make new friends to share good times with!!! 
Hope we can meet soon in one of these events!!!

Thanks for the welcome message Danger... :) I'm actually considering going on that trip since I've never been there and I've heard lots of good & fun things about it.
It looks like lot of people have RSVP, it will definitely be fun... :) Hopefully I can make it and can meet all of you... :)

I am new also to the area and to Yap. funny thing is I was looking for something to do over the wekeend as well and then found this site. Have to tell you I lived in El Slavador for about 4 1/2 years. I was in the Peace Corps for 3 years there and then moved to San Salvador where I became the brand manager for Red Bull . I love it and I miss it so much. Be proud. They are wonderful people.
