We have multiple YAP Halloween parties. The Halloween party in San Antonio is a benefit for one of our event leaders who was in an accident. This Halloween party in Dallas is a different event. It's our same party we've had last 5 years. There was some confusion as the DFW site listed both parties by mistake awhile ago.

The hotel should have this issue squared away now.  Room rates at $69 for a king or double that night.  Ask for the Big D Sports rate and if they tell you they can't find it, ask for Dee, she is the assistant manager for the hotel.

EVENT UPDATE:

I hope that all of you are starting to get excited about our Annual Costume Party coming up on Friday night!!! Can't wait to see some of the great costumes that make an appearance each year.

I am starting to put together the music playlist for the party. If you have some songs you would like to hear, please email me the MP3s or the name of the songs and I'll do my best to get them in. Cassidy's is a fairly large place and they are putting down a good size dance floor for us.

There are still lots of rooms available for Friday night. Rate is $69....just ask for the Big D Party rate. The hotel also has an indoor pool and hottub that a few of us made use of after the pub crawl. It was quite nice!!!! Even if you aren't getting a room, be sure to bring your suit for an after-party around the pool.

See you all there!!!!

This was my third Yap Halloween Party and sadly, seems with the change in venue, allot of atmosphere and attendees were lost. I think over 300 rsvp'd but only about 100-150 showed up, if that. What happened to the DJ and the Host. The previous years it was very interactive, games, costume contests, drink specials... much was lost this year. The private parties were the highlight of the evening. Thank god for alcohol. :-) I dressed up as a sexy pirate and received lots of kuddos for my costome. Thanks to all. Sadly to say, someone liked my pirate hat so much that it took feet and walked away. I'm the most giving person I know and if anyone would have asked me where I got it from or could they borrow it, I would have gladly given it to you, really. Out of the entire nite, having my hat stolen was the worse thing I could say about the evening. Especially since it was painful to buy it and more so now that someone took advantage of the situation. Therefore, if anyone found my black pirate's hat with red bows on the left and right sides, stole it and has a change of conscious or knows who has it, I want to offer a generous reward. I want to offer a 3 day, 2 night vacation for 4 to one of the following destinations (Las Vegas, NV, Orlando, FL, Reno, NV, San Diego, CA, Myrtle Beach, SC, Honolulu, HI, Virgin Islands, or San Francisco, CA), no questions asked. I can't take the trip due to personal commitments so I'm willing to give it away simply for the return of my pirate's hat. The first one to return my brand new hat, gets the trip. No questions asked. Thanks. SkyNTexas@yahoo.com
