I'd love to go to some events and meet as many folks as possible, not just turn into an "inactive member". I grew up in Dallas but have lived on the east coast for the past 11 years. So calling all YAP rookies... lets get together and have some fun!

Which events were you thinking about? I have only been to volleyball, but I would like to try more things. |

Hey Becca & Gilli! I'm thinking about doing the monthly party in a couple weeks and the late night at DMA after that. How was the rollerskating event? |

Hey guys. I can honestly say that if you are really committed to just jumping into the action, the monthly party and happy hours are the best way. If you want to ease yourself into YAP, try a smaller event on a week night :)
You guys have joined up with a LOT of awesome people here in YAP. Heck, I've been here less than 2 months (Holy crap, it's only been 2 months?!) and I consider some of these folks my closest of friends...well, that or partners in crime <3
Welcome to YAP! ;D

Thanks for the advice Kendall! How big are the monthly parties and happy hours usually? I want to know if I should start at a smaller event first before I just try to introduce myself to 50 new people that already know each other.

The monthly parties and happy hours usually have anywhere from 20 to 100 people. You should come to Blackfinn tonight! Get there earlier to meet people as they come in...or if you want to jump in head first, be fashionably late. I will most likely be there so feel free to come say hi
