Hi Carlette,
Welcome. I've been a Yap person for about a year. I occasionally go to their events, but mostly, i use it as an addition to my own social life. I've got a sushi club, a greek food night, wall climbing, kayaking (in 3 weeks!), blah, blah, blah.
anyway, i'm bringing some of my people to the 888 party on August 8th, 2008. It's a costume party, charity event, where the costume theme is Pilots and Stewardesses. It was fun last year.
If you attend, you will know at least me and i'll introduce you to a few more of my friends....some of whom are RPG'ers...on a disturbingly regular basis.

Hi Stan! mmm... sushi club.... I wish I could make the party! I love any excuse to dress in costume- Halloween is absolutely my favorite holiday. If I went into detail on some of my past costumes, you might think I was a total spaz (then again, you probably wouldn't as it appears that you too are a spaz...Nice photos!). I don't typically do anything on Friday nights because I work a 12 hour shift every Friday (don't feel sorry for me, I have 3 days off every week). Doing things on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday nights are really ideal for me. I'll keep the event in mind regardless... I absolutely adore events for charity (pair that with costume... Does it get any better?!). Thanks for the warm welcome! I hope to meet you some day :)
