Hey Y'all....Please pass this along to anyone who might be interested. My roommate has screwed me over and left me with $1800 in back pay to our apt complex. (She has bounced 2 check to me) I have to kick her out, and I am rather looking for someone to take her place, both rooms, or find someone who is looking to let someone move in. Our apt is really cute....It's in Legacy Village at N tollway and Legacy and rent is $1150 month. I'm a really clean, caring person, and have 2 wonderful well-behaved dogs, that are kenneled when I'm not home. I really don't want to move, but if I don't find someone in a couple days, they are going to kick us out. If I have to move, I'd prefer to find someone with a house in the Plano area. There are some lawyers in the group who may be able to give advice on getting that money back. I believe for $25 (not sure) you can issue a subpoena for your roommate to appear in small claims court (under $5000) if you know where she lives now.
