I'm a new runner too... definitely not trained enough to keep up with experts, but looking for a nice, SAFE place to do my morning jogs. I'd love to hear suggestions... I'd try White Rock Lake, since it's close by, but a DPD friend says there are several rapes there every month.

and I hope that this is a good way to make friends! Is YAP a group that just tends to hang out at these events, or are people looking to make friends or network or what? (Or all of the above?)
