Crystal, most of the fireworks places are banned due to the severe drought San Antonio is having. However, downtown is still having their festivities. They usually take place by the emily morgan hotel near the Alamo. have fun and welcome to SA.

I think Waxy Oconnors Downtown is very good. Not the cheapest place but a great atmosphere. They have live Irish music and great selection of European beers! Checkout the website!
