So everyone knows I made an event for this a few days ago, scheduled on Monday the 28th.  But it seems like the request is in limbo waiting for someone to approve it.  Hopefully it will appear soon and all will be well in the world.

If not, the event is still on and I'll be there at 7pm at the Texas Rock Gym.  See texasrockgym.com for details on location and pricing.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.  I'll make this time during the week because I'll be out of town that weekend, but I can definately set up another event for a Saturday to try and get everybody a chance.  I'll make the event for the 28th,a Monday which should be less crowded and happens to be ladies half off.  Thursday is students half off, but I'm not sure how many off us still have our IDs!

We have plenty of time until the event, so if there are any major schedule conflicts let me know and we can try and work something out.

I'm planning on making a rock climbing event for any who are interested, but I wanted to get some feedback from people on availability.

As of now I'm planning on an afterwork climb starting around 6pm or 7pm, ending when you're tired, on the week of September 28th.  New climbers have to take a 30 min safety course, so that is something to think about as far as time goes.  You can get price details from texasrockgym.com.

Any comments on time or day of the week?  Is the weekend better for people?  Let me know and I'll set something up so we can get climbing!

I'll be biking either this Saturday or Sunday at Memorial with a friend.  If you prefer a particular day let me know, we're flexible.  We typically try and bike in the late morning or early afternoon.

This goes for anyone who is interested in meeting up.  And fyi I am far from a pro, I still get off to walk alot, so feel free to join if you're a beginner.

I was going to set up an event for this, but it said I needed to give 8 days notice and I don't have that.

Myself and maybe a few others will be climbing at the Texas Rock Gym off I-10 and Cambell this Thursday at 8pm.  They close at 10pm so that should give us plenty of time to climb.

Post if you have questions.  I'll make an event for the next time.

I'll have to pass this time, something popped up.  We should set up an event for next week and get this out of the forums.

I'm good to climb any day, anytime.  Rather than me setting a date and time, how about ya'll set the details and you can count on me being there.  Just let me know with a little heads up.

FYI, I work and live close to the 1960 rock gym so that's my preferred place on weekdays.  Weekends I'll go anywhere.

I'm good for next Tuesday.  Can we make it official and make an event for it, or are we going to keep it in the forums?

Just let me know the details.

I'm usually free to bike any Saturday.  I usually go to Memorial or Meyer Park (up north).  A few hours notice is usually all I need.

Since we have so many interested in climbing now how about we set something up.

How does Saturday afternoon at 1pm sound for everybody?  I'm also good to do it on a weekday, but I don't know how work schedules and traffic would work out for everybody.  But if people want a weekday I say let them have a weekday!

The best location would be Texas Rock Gym, you can get prices and directions at http://texasrockgym.com/  The general location is I-10 west off Cambell Rd (in between 610 and Beltway).

I'm out of town next week, but a group of us could get together the week of July 20th to do some indoor climbing if people are interested.  The best location is probably Texas Rock Gym off I-10; it's the most centrally located and good for all levels.  I can post more details if ya'll want.

Alternatively if people really want to climb right now I'm free tomorrow.

You can count me in!  So long as there are no sports questions I can be pretty good!

Sorry no outdoors, at least not yet.  To do that you need to travel to the Austin area, which I'm not against.  I do have all the equipment but I'm not lead certified so I can't set a route.  Of course there is always bouldering with no equipment required.

I try to do indoor climbing at least once every two weeks if you are looking for someone to climb with.
