Hi there Monica
I'm also new and see you moved to The Woodlands which is where I am. I've only properly been in town for 2 weeks and unfortunately had to work late and missed this months party. There's some great restaurants and wine bars in The Woodlands and I found everyone really friendly so far.
Might see you around or at June's party.

Hi April,
I work in logistics/ transportation so will be in an office close to the Int'l airport. I guess I'd like somewhere thats convenient to get to work (I hear there a few traffic problems! lol) but also somewhere that I can venture out for a few drinks and meet people.
Next time I'm in Houston I'm going to try and plan it so I can attend the monthly party.

I'm shortly going to be moving to Houston and need recommendations on where to live, where to party and where to go. I have no idea which part of town would be best for me and which areas I should strictly avoid!
