I would check out the MUSA website at musakickball.com.  They always have leagues running.  I'm not on a team this fall, but I'm pretty sure if you e-mail them that they will be able to find a team for you.  Let me know if you have any luck!

Check out www.hauntedwisconsin.com  for the a directory of haunted houses.  From my experiences, the ones that are a little outside of the city tend to be there best.

I went to the Burial Chamber last year and that was pretty good.  The 2 haunted houses were pretty good and so was the haunted woods.  However, the Burial simulator was just dumb, so don't waste your money.

You can check out the Big Bang at Summerfest the first night on Thursday, June 25th.  It's pretty crowded that night so come early.

On July 3rd there's also a fireworks show on the lakefront.  You could probably get a good spot at Bradford Beach, the Art Museum or anywhere around there.

There are also fireworks at every city.  Check the individual city websites for details.  (i.e. City of Franklin)

There's always your standard Halloween Express that pops up all over Milwaukee around Halloween.  The one on 27th Street just north of Layton is one of the better stores.  There is also Bartz's on Hwy 100 and Coldspring.

One of the places with better variety is Buycostumes.com.  They're actually in New Berlin.  So their shipping is quick and if it's an emergency you should be able to arrange to pick the costume up directly.

REI has an OK rock climbing wall, but if you go further west on Capital Dr, you'll find Adventure Rock (www.adventurerock.com ).  I've been there several times and it's a lot of fun.

I'm also going to add this to the NEWaukee list of groups for specific activities.  If you find any good Tennis clubs let me know.
