DotNetNuke Email Management Module
Brought to you by Jason with YAP Club

My DotNetNuke Success Story
I discovered DotNetNuke over a year ago when I was looking for a platform for my new website for my social group for young professionals I run in Dallas, TX. I started with DNN 2.1.2 in September of 2004 and then in May of 2005 launched the new website. YAP Club has benefited from the DNN open source community using the DNN platform and 10+ community contributed modules.

To see my site, you can browse to www.yapclub.com. Those interested in DNN only, please register on this site here and not my other sites. We use PortalMapper so your account is shared across my other portals if you wanted to see the parts of my DNN site that require authentication.

Help my DNN Site Grow
I learned ASP.net and DotNetNuke solely to create my YAP Club site. As a result, I decided I am not interested in getting in the Dotnetnuke Module Business or DotNetNuke Consulting. So I decided to start sharing some of my DNN modules and code with the community as open source.

1. If you enjoy my modules and have a developer site, I would really appreciate a link to www.yapclub.com/dnn

2. Even better, if you have related sites to my social club for young professionals, I would appreciate links to www.yapclub.com or my corresponding cities (www.yapclub.com/dfw, etc....). You can go to my http://www.yapclub.com/RESOURCES/tabid/218/Default.aspx link for my suggested html link text.

3. Or, if you develop a customer's site who is looking to swap links and improve SEO, I would appreciate link exchanges with them. You can submit links via my modified LinkNex module via the "Resources" link on any of my pages such as this one: http://www.yapclub.com/RESOURCES/tabid/218/Default.aspx.

Open Source Email Manager Module
I needed to have a very good email module for my site so decided to write my own. I plan on constantly improving it and adding features. If the community is supportive in my work and continually helps me get links , It'll be worth my time to work extra hard to make it a top notch module and satisfy many of the community feature requests.

I have setup a forum, feedback and downloads pages for you to get the latest info on my module.

Other Modules Down the Road
In mid 2006 I plan on writing an auction\bidding module if one is not already created. This will be bidding for DNN roles rather than a shopping cart. Also, I may release my calendar (a spinoff of AVCalendar) as a module as open source as it is a unique calendar. I also have some other useful code and such I may release such as a password reminder by email, a "DNN Toolbox" of useful DNN API calls and others.
