20s 30s Singles Cruise 2010

ABOUT THE CRUISE
We have started a tradition for YAP joining an annual cruise for singles in their 20s and 30s with 150+ people attending every year hosted by SinglesCruise.com. In 2009 they had 160 ppl and we had a fantastic time. This is limitied to singles 39 years old or younger. Sorry. We will have other trips for those older than 39 and couples.

After you pay with SinglesCruise.com they will give you access to their discussion forums where you can meet people beforehand. Someone usually creates a Facebook group too.

ROOMMATE MATCHING
They do roommate matching so if you let them know ahead of time they can match you with a same sex roommate so you can save money.

PRE AND POST HOTELS IN MIAMI
We recommend getting a hotel for Saturday night. Most ppl do this. Else if you book a flight the same day that gets delayed or cancelled you may miss the cruise. Be sure to check when the deadline for boarding is (you must board well before departure time)

Every year people share rooms at hotels in Miami before and after the cruise. You may post here to find roommates or if you pay early enough u can find a roommate via the SinglesCruise.com forums.

The official night sponosred by the cruise is Saturday so there will be a pre cruise party that night. But some people get rooms for Friday night and/or the Sunday after as well.

I personally arrived the Friday before and left the Monday after and found ppl to share rooms with on Friday night and Sunday night without problem despite me paying 4 weeks before the sail date in 2009. If u pay u can check the forums and facebook groups and chat to find roommates for rooms before and after the cruise.

MORE CRUISE DETAILS
In 2009 we had three cruise director hosts, private activities every day and fun single people to meet and hang out with on the ship and on shore.

This year is on one of the best ships in the Carnival's fleet, the Carnival Valor with four ports of call in the Western Caribbean.

SinglesCruise.com is very popular and gets as much as 450+ for their trips (Halloween) every year. Last year we had two (actually I think it was three) private parties with free alcohol including a welcome aboard singles party, social parties hosted every night, select special theme parties, private dinner seating reserved for our group & other hosted private fun events to hang out at.

There is always something going private for our group during the day and at night and if you want to venture on your own when you signup you can find other singles to do tours and events with. Such as in 2009 I and other singles on the trip arranged an extensive private jeep tour in the forums in St Thomas for only $25pp (yes, we had a blast!!!).

So you do pay a slight premium over normal fares which is well worth it (especially if you drink) with the benefits, private events & all singles u get to meet (instead of old couples, married ppl and kids). Although sometimes the rate is actually the same or lower than where you can get elsewhere. It depends.

This trip gets the "Jason Five Star Seal" of Approval. :) I fully endorse it. I paid and went in 2009 and plan on going in 2010. I had a freaking awesome time.
