YAP Cruise 2009

UPDATE: As of 3/4/2009 April has reported they have 145 signed up for this trip. There is a special forum and an online chat where ppl discuss this and there is also at least 3 major fun themed parties. I am very excited about this trip. Email update to come...

We are doing a 7 day 20s and 30s singles "spring break" cruise out of Miami aboard the Carnival Triumph for our trip the last week of March.

The trip cost until December 29th is $686pp for cheapest room with double occupancy. The singles group we're going with is not going to up the rate after the 29th, but Carnival will if the ship is close to full and it is closer to sailing time. So book before the 29th if you want to ensure the rate. When I checked there were still a lot of spots available so I am guessing there is still time after the 29th to signup at the current rate. Carnival most likely will wait until they know they will sell out the ship before increasing the rate.

Please see the trip website for all official details on this event. And not this website. This includes departure times, costs, airfare recommendations, what is included, etc. I would check what airfare costs before you book the cruise.

Since we are doing the trip with a 3rd party, they will already have a lot of people on the trip so even if only a handful of ppl from YAP go there will be a lot more other people on the trip. They unofficially said they usually get around 80ppl for this specific trip but it could vary from 30ppl to over a 100ppl. Some of their bigger trips open to all age ranges get over 300ppl.

Jason Koskimaki plans on going and needs a roommate for a double share inside cabin. If you want to share a room with me, send me a msg.

NOTE: This trip is for singles only and for those in their 20s and 30s. They do not allow anyone older than 39 to go unfortunately. We'll look to do future trips for singles & couples along with all age ranges.

How to Find the Group

We will post a way for YAP members to meet on the cruise the first day. But this is a hosted event with a single group so they will have private parties and a schedule for meeting everyone throughout the trip.
