Candlelight Tour 2008

Date: Friday and Saturday, December 12 & 13, 2008

Time: 6:30-9:30 pm

Location: Sam Houston Park, 1100 Bagby in Downtown Houston

Event Description: The Heritage Society's 46th Annual Candlelight Tour showcases eight of our historic structures trimmed to perfection in traditional 19th century decor. The flicer of candles carefully set out for the vent illuminates the Sam Houston Park as visitors tour the park, they will find that each of the structures offers a different variety of entertainment for all ages. Additionally, The Heritage Society Museum will feature What's Cookin'? Two Centuries of American Foodways exhibit in the museum gallery exploring different cultures through the food they eat. 

Volunteer Activities: Friday and/or Saturday from 5:30-9:30 - volunteers are needed in the areas of Hospitality, Event Ticket Sales, Entertainment, Security, Surveying, Santa's Workshop and various other event services.
