Indoor Rock Climbing
There's not much I can say about the event except it will be rock climbing!!
This is a fun way to meet new people and try out a new activity. There really is nothing like rock climbing. It's a fun experience to hang around and cheer each other on while they do their best to climb to the top.
For those who feel a little nervous about climbing, or think you're not in shape enough for it, I can tell you that I have seen all ages, shapes, and sizes people climb and they only seem to be limited by their attitude. Rock climbing is very safe so long as you follow the rules. You've probably got a better chance hurting yourself drinking at a bar than rock climbing!
One note is that all new climbers to this gym must take a safety course that lasts about 30 minutes. So feel free to get there early if you want some extra climbing time, or you can wait for the rest of the group.
If you have any questions send me a message and I can give you plenty of more information.
You can check out the Texas Rock Gym website for more details, but there are some I'm putting right here:
