The concept, location, and selection are great. Bobbie's (the VP) insistace on keeping the GIANT television on (loud) in the romantic back room is a FATAL FLAW.

Other sites review the same thing as I experienced:

There on a date. Visiting in the back with NO ONE else in the back room besides us. I turned off the television. 45 minutes later, the owner comes back, does not ask if I turned it off, but says "PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE TELEVISION, IT IS ON FOR ALL OUR GUESTS!" It was said to us loud and rude. I could not believe it. It was so rude that it took me off guard.

All I can say is that Vintropolis offers one thing over my home: massive selection. I have a nice home; comfortable; selection of about 30 bottles; romantic fireplace; and GIANT TELEVISION.

So, the question is begged: "WHY GO TO VINTROPOLIS???"
